    Mr. Gnann is the Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Chris joined Climax Molybdenum in 2007 following a 21-year career in the United States Air Force where he led several complex business organizations. He has held sales management, sales & operations planning, and commercial operations roles within Climax. Chris holds a Master of Science degree from Purdue University, a Master of Business Administration degree from Campbell University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia.

    Ms. Hart is the Vice President, Global Downstream Operations for Climax Molybdenum. Leanice joined Climax Molybdenum originally in 2010 with more than 15 years of manufacturing experience. Her previous positions include General Manager, Administration at Tenke-Fungurume Mining, a Freeport-McMoran affiliate in the Democratic Republic of Congo, from 2011 – 2018 and General Manager, Administration for Climax Molybdenum. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Colby College and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management.

    Mr. Kendrick is the president of Climax Molybdenum. Michael Kendrick has been with Freeport-McMoRan since 1997, working in leadership positions at numerous sites in North and South America. In 2008, he became Vice President Technical Services-Climax Molybdenum Co., and in 2009, moved to the role of Vice President-Operational Improvement, Freeport-McMoRan Mining Co. Michael Kendrick has a long history with Climax Molybdenum, first working at the Climax Mine during summers when he was in college. Soon after graduating, he worked at the Henderson Mine in various positions, including general laborer, foreman, customer quality manager, associate mill engineer and senior metallurgical engineer. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in mining engineering with a minor in metallurgical engineering, from the Colorado School of Mines and a Master’s of Business Administration degree from the University of Denver.

    Irene Morittu

    Irene started with the company in 2005 as Controller at the Climax Molybdenum downstream location in Rotterdam and worked in positions of increasing responsibility, including Accounting Manager Consolidations and Analysis and Controller-Colorado operations after which she assumed the position of General Manager of the Rotterdam location. She was named Controller of the Climax Molybdenum division in 2022.

    Irene has an accounting degree from the University of Applied Science in Utrecht, the Netherlands, and is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Accountants in the Netherlands.
